Alice is a trained lay pastor, having completed the Commissioned Lay Pastor program of Dubuque Theological Seminary. She has been a member of The Presbyterian Church of Pleasantville for 30 years, and is a life-long Presbyterian.

In addition to many years on the session and as clerk of session, and serving on two PNCs in Pleasantville, Alice has been an active member of West Jersey Presbytery for over 30 years, serving on the Evangelism Committee, Committee on Ministry, Nominating Committee, the Permanent Judicial Commission (moderator), Executive Committee (moderator) and Council (moderator). Alice was an Elder Representative of WJP to General Assembly in 1997, and was Moderator of WJP in 2000-2001.

Alice’s “day job” is as the Executive Secretary to the Superintendent of the Atlantic County Special Services School District. She resides in Egg Harbor Township with her husband, Ken, two children and one grandchild.

Wendy has served as our church secretary since June of 2008.  She brings a degree in Business Administration  from Grove City College to our office.

She and her husband, Bob and their two boys make their home in Somers Point, where Wendy was also born and raised.

Wendy staffs the office Monday - Thursday, 9:30 am - 2:00 pm.

Dr. Robert Helsabeck has been our vounteer Music Director for over 35 years., as well as a member of the congregation. He brings a love of music and a passion for sharing it with others.

Bob is also a professor of Sociology at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

He and his wife, Vicky live in Absecon.
